In the summer of 1992, Ice Cube was at the top of the rap game. He said the inspiration for his megahit “It Was a Good Day” came from thinking about the good things rap had given him – wealth, women, and of course his Chevy Impala. Ice Cube’s success, of course, has since gone beyond music after he crossed over into Hollywood with films like Boyz in the Hood, Friday, and Three Kings.
